Expressive
Acrylic & Mixed Media Painting:
This
workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to learn to create art that is more
expressive, contemporary, and personal.
Learn about the process of
abstraction and how you can use abstracting to make your artwork more creative
and interesting.
Discover how to use collaging, under-painting, and layering techniques as you
bring more life to your paintings and more enjoyment to your painting
experience. Explore your artistic process to understand how to move more deeply
into your own creativity. This workshop is open to participants with all levels
of experience.
Stretching Toward Abstraction:
Make your paintings to be more contemporary and personal. Learn about the process of abstraction and how you can use abstracting to make your artwork more creative, loose, personal, and interesting. Some topics in this workshop: Inspiration (starting a painting), using references, theory and history, what is abstraction, and techniques for abstracting.
