Contained within this simple wooden reliquary is a representation of the Tree of Life—an iconic symbol revered across cultures for thousands of years. This piece is deeply personal to me; it embodies the life-giving tree that gathers and sustains all living things. I have been painting versions of this "Mother Tree" for over thirty years. Her arms stretch wide, welcoming all who gather to share in her love and connect with one another.
